Requirement for Approval in Principle

  • Approved and valid Hiring Outcome Report (HOR)
  • The minimum Paid Up Capital required is RM10,000, whether the company is Malaysian-owned, Foreign-owned, or jointly owned
  • If your AP has expired, you are required to apply a new AP Application
  • One your AP has expired, any unused quota can no longer be utilise

LABOUR LICENCE

Requirement for Labour Licence

  • Obtain Approved, Valid and Unutilised Approval in Principle (AP) from SANSOLS
  • Labour Licences Renewal are not allowed in the following situation :
    • The approved Approval in Principle (AP) has been REVOKE
    • The Labour Licences has expired;
    • The Maximum renewal limit for the sector has been reached

Requirement for Worker/Employee

  • Must between 18 – 45 years old
  • Must be in good health and free from any infectious diseases such as AIDS/HIV, Malaria, Leprosy, STD’s and Hepatitis
  • Pregnant female foreign worker are NOT ALLOWED to work
  • A medical re-examination must be conducted every two(2) years if the workers services are still required
  • Foreign Workers must maintain good behaviour at all times and must not be involved in any activities that violate laws , regulations or local customs and culture
  • The Temporary Employment Visit Pass is issued under the name if the applying employer only.
  • Foreign Workers are not allowed to work for another employer or at a location other than what is stated in the pass, and are not permitted to change employers.
  • Foreign Workers must remain in their home country at the time of application and are only allowed to enter Malaysia after:
    • Payment of Pass and Levy has been made and;
    • Obtaining a Visa with Reference (VDR) from the nearest Malaysian representative office.
