Initial Engangement and Needs Assesment

Phase 1:

Formal Authorisation and Documentation

Phase 2

– Signing a power of Attorney authorising the agency to act on your behalf
– Collectiong company documents (click here)

Government Approvals

Phase 3:

– Advertise Job Position in JobSarawak to obtain Hiring Outcome Report
– Arranging an open interview session with PERKESO (SOSCO)

– AP Quota Application
– Labour Licences Application

Recruitment in Source Country

Phase 4:

– Coordinated throug overseas recruitment partners and involves sourcing candidates, screening for suitable and selecting workers who meet the job requirements.
– Interview may be conducted by employer (in person or remotely)

Worker Processing

Phase 5:

– Selected workers undergo several steps in their home country before departure:
1) Medical examination
2) Passport Verification (min 18 months remaining validity)
3) Country of origin clearances and exits permits where required
4) Insurace and social security arragement

Visa and immigration Processing

Phase 6:

-Submission application at Immigration Department Malaysia (JIMS)
– Applying for e-VDR (Visa with Reference)
– PLKS Application prerequites:
1) Approved & Valid AP
2) Approved Labour Licence
3) Fit Status medical screening report from source country
4) Fit status medical screening report from SAFHIS (after arrival)

Arrival and Medical Screening

Phase 7:

-SAHFIS medical screening (complete within 30 days)
– PLKS collection (collect at JIMS)
– NSIC Registration (fingerprint and photo registration)

Placement and Post-Placement Support

Phase 8:

– Monitoring worker welfare and adaptation
– Ensuring worker accommodation meets applicable accommodation standards
– Assisting with any issues that arise (documentation, medical, etc)
– Permit renewal management
– Guidance on employer obligations under the law
